The Man in the High Castle by Philip K. Dick (Book Review)

The Man in the High CastleThe Man in the High Castle by Philip K. Dick
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

“Truth…As terrible as death. But harder to find. “ Philip K. Dick

or

“Reality. What a concept.” – Robin Williams

Alternate history, mind-bending style. The characters are a bit flat for my taste, but I can forgive that in light of the layers of reality and the superior world-building. Picture, if you will, a USA divided between Germany and Japan after the Axis wins World War II.

Or did it?

I believe this book will take more than one reading to absorb.

I like trees, dreaming, magic, books, paper, floating, dreaming, rhinos, rocks, stargazing, wine, dragonflies, trains, and silence to hear the world breathe.
